I am having so much fun making Halloween treats for the charity event I am participating in at Phoenix Children’s Hospital next weekend. I am in LOVE with the new Halloween DSP!!! I already know that I am going to need more! This little treat box is one of my favorites so far. It is a 2,4,6,8 box with the new DSP, new Kiwi Kiss ribbon and the Batty for You stamp set. It was very simple to throw together!

If you are interested in more of my treat containers- please sign up for my email newsletter on the left side of my blog. I will be sending out my newsletter this week and it has lots of NEw and fun features! It includes a tutorial for a Halloween treat, some scrapbooking tips, classes by mail and so much more!

I have taken a 1000 pictures since getting my new camera less than a month ago!!! That is a new record for me! I just can’t stop clicking!! Hello, my name is Jamie and I am addicted to my camera!

Today we aired up the kid’s plastic pool and let them swim on the back patio. So, of course, I had to take pictures. Now, some friends have noted that I have taken tons of pics of my kids swimming. And I have scrapped a lot of them too. I just can’t help it! The kids are happiest in water! Plus- outdoor pictures are so much nicer and when you live in AZ- you have to be in water to be outdoors during this time of year! So here are MORE swimming pics!

didn’t have anything ready to show you today so I made a quick trip to the stamp room. I used all the colors and paper that I had on my desk from last night’s class and added the Say it With Scallops stamp set. I made this one in about 5 minutes and that includes the design time. Even though it is very simple, anyone would love to get this one in the mail!

Recipe:
Stamps: Say it with Scallops
Paper: Urban Garden DSP, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Not quite Navy
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Not Quite Navy
Other: Square Scallop Punch, 1/2 inch circle punch, Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon

Happy Friday!!! I am teaching a class tonight and have spent the day preparing for that. So not much time for stamping. But I did make this simple Christmas card last week. It is a 3×6 card which is one of my very favorite sized cards. It fits perfectly in Stampin’ Up’s small open end envelopes. This would be a very simple card to replicate for your holiday cards. If yo would like to order the supplies, email me (sears1130@cox.net) and I will include instructions and demensions for the card with your order.

Recipe:
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Holidays and Wishes
Paper: Whisper White, Old Olive
Ink: Old Olive
Other: Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon

Our puppies, Cooper and Candee, are now 4 1/2 months old. They have been a fabulous addition to our large family! The kids adore them and my hubby is in love!!! Cooper has been in puppy class at Petsmart for the past 2 months. He graduated a couple weeks ago. Isn’t he cute with his graduation cap on?!

I decided to make his teacher, Susan, and her dog, Maggie, a little gift from Cooper. So I put some doggie treats in a glass jar (from Ikea) and made a tag for it. I also made a matching card. But here is your warning…..these stamps are not Stampin’ Up! I NEEDED a doggie set and so I got this set by Hero Arts at a scrapbook store. It is clear and I am not a big fan because the quality of the images is not as good as with rubber stamps. But Susan and Maggie liked their gift and that is all that mattered!

I have been going to town making things in my scrapbook room this week. I am getting ready for a fundraiser for a local Children’s Hopital. I will show you what I have been making when I get a chance to take some pictures!

had the pleasure of getting together with my scrapbook club today! I always enjoy scrapping with these ladies. Many of them have been in clubs with me for the past year and a half and we have formed a friendship.

They each got to make this two page layout using lots of new stuff from the catty. They loved the page. And so do I!

Do you love the clouds in the sky? I made those with a sponge, Baja Breeze ink and a scrap punched with the scallop circle punch as a mask. I love the way it turned out.

I also love the flowers. I inked the entire stamp with Baja Breeze and then used a sponge dauber to add some Not Quite Navy to the tops of the flowers.

The title "You" was made with the Go Go Boots alphabet and my Big Shot!! My customers will be able to start ordering these on September 2nd!!! Everyone at club today loved it!!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Inspired by Nature, Flight of the Butterfly
Paper: Urban Garden DSP, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Basic Gray
Ink: Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie
Other: Scallop Punch, Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, Go Go Boots Alphabte Die, Sponge, Sponge Dauber, Baja Breeze Striped Ribbon

My DH just found out this morning that his grandmother was in the hospital. She has been dealing with breast cancer for the past couple of months but this time she was in the hospital because of a tear in her intestine. She sounded sad on the phone so we decided to pack the kids up and take them to Tucson (about an hour drive) to visit. I only had a few minutes- but I knew that I wanted to make something to cheer her up And I remembered this awesome (and simple) tutorial from Dannie Graves.

So here is my Notecard Folder using the Bella Rose DSP, Kiwi Kiss, and Riding Hood Red Cardstock, and my Pretties kit!

Yum! Don’t you love the new Kiwi Kiss striped ribbon?!
This is what it looks like after you untie the ribbon and open the folder. Inside, I have post-card type cards and some envelopes.

You could embellish these more- but my time was limited. It took about 10 minutes to complete the entire project!!!

I can’t stop using my Big Shot. Every little piece of paper I can find is getting rolled throught that thing! I LOVE it!!! Check out this little envelope that I made with the new Baja Breeze and the Urban Garden DSP. I had to add some Satin Kiwi Kiss ribon because it is sooo yummy!!

The butterfly is from a new set called Flight of the Butterfly. It was one of the free sets that demos got at convention.
When you push the belly band down, the envelope opens. Aren’t those scallops adorable?! And the die cut machine did it all for me!!! Even the scoring!

Inside I added a lttle card.

I think that this would be so cute on a gift bag or wrapped package! I can’t wait to make a bunch of them to put on my holoiday gifts!

I just wanted to post a congrats to one the sweet gals in my downline, Kati Kimball. She gave birth to twin girls two days ago. They are both over 6 pounds and everyone is doing great!!
