Elegant Snow Swirled
Filed Under Cards, Christmas | Leave a Comment
A couple days ago I told you that my two favorite Christmas stamp sets are Snow Swirled and Hliday Line Up. So today I have a snow swirled card that is super simple!!! You can make this lots of this one in no time and your friends and family would love it! And can you belive that it has NO RIBBON!!!!

This project was inspired from a group of different cards in the Splitcoast gallery. This picture does not really do the card justice! The snowflakes are stamped in Old Olive, Night of Navy and Elegant Eggplant. Then the Whisper White is mounted on a piece of Elegant Eggplant and then a piece of Old Olive. And the sentiment is from the same set! I love that!!!
You still have time to order stamp supplies to make holiday cards and gifts! But don’t wait any longer! Email me today or go to my Stampin Up website to place your order! In about a week- you will have your supplies at your door!

The Snowman Line Up
Filed Under Cards, Christmas | Leave a Comment
What are your favorite Christmas stamp sets this year? Mine are Snow Swirled and Holiday Line Up!!! And today I have a fun card using the snowmen from Holiday Line Up!

Here is the insert…

I usedTHIS tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers to make my Criss Cross card. The snowmen were stamped in Basic Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and then I used various Stampin’ Write markers to color them in. And by the way- I did not sew that button. I have no idea what to do with a needle and thread. I just put a thin strip of cardtsock through the holes and then attached the button with a glue dot.
Recipe:
Stamps: Holiday Line Up, Many Merry Messages
Paper: Frosty Day, Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Old Olive
Other: Bashful Blue Buttong, Tangerine Tango Striped Ribbon, Stampin Write markers, Tab Punch
Someone recently asked me for close up photos of the cards that were part of my Holiday Line Up class. Sorry- I didn’t realize that I hadn’t posted pictures of just the cards! So here they are…

a Borrowed Scrapbook page!
Filed Under Big Shot, Christmas, Scrapbooking | Leave a Comment
I was so busy writing tutorials for my newsletters that I forgot to take pictures of the project I was going to show you today!!! But no fear- I have a sweet scrapbook layout to show you that my upline, Amy, made as one of our make and takes at our booth at the Creating Keepsakes convention in September. She was kind enough to let me share- again!

The layout size is 6×6 which is perfect for displaying on your counter as part of your holiday decor!
That big scallop picture mat was made with the Big Shot Die Cut Machine and one of the dies! Cool huh? And the stamp set that she used is called Snow Burst. The colors are Real Red, Old Olive, and More Mustard.
And isn’t her family adorable?!!!
I’ll be back tomorrow!

Simple Christmas Card!!!
Filed Under Cards, Christmas, Holiday Mini Catalog | 3 Comments
Have you decided on a design for your Christmas cards? If you have- then you are one step ahead of me!!! And if you are starting to wonder if you are going to have time to hand make your cards- then this card is just for you…

It’s very simple!!! But it is still much cuter than any store bought card, right?
I have seen lots of cards in the Splitcoast Gallery like this one and so I finally jumped on the band wagon and made one too!
The "ornament" is just a 1 3/4 circle punched out of the Ski Slope Designer Series Paper. I drew the "String" with a black marker. I tied a bow with the Red Gingham ribbon and adhered to to the card with a glue dot. The sentiment was stamped in black and then I took a blender pen- dipped it in Real Red ink- and lightly ran it over the words "Merry Christmas." Done!!!
I hope that you enjoy! I have a lot of stamping to get done today! I have a tough job, huh?!
See you tomorrow!

Counting My Blessings
Filed Under Club Project, Pictures of the kids, Scrapbooking | 2 Comments
This picture right here pretty much sums up my greatest blessings!!!

We had our annual family Christmas pictures taken on Friday! You can see more of the pictures on my family blog by clicking HERE if you want to.
But on to the stamping…
This is the 2 page scrapbook layout that my clubs will be making this week….

The Very Vanilla cardstock is just a place maker for my pictures. I want to use some pictures from Thanksgiving on this layout but I wanted my club gals to get an idea of what I was thinking when designing it.
Here is the first page…

And here is the 2nd page…

Let me give you some close ups…

I used my Big Shot Die Cut Machine with the top note die to create that fun shape for the first part of the title!

On the journaling strips I listed my top 5 blessings. Each of these blessings will coordinate with one of the pictures on the layout and that is why I punch a small circle of pumpkin pie cardstock and put numbers next to the photos!!!
Now I told you I love that stamp set Best Wishes & More when I used it on Friday- so you had to know you would be seeing it again!!!

So can you believe that I made a scrapbook layout without any ribbon and without using any Old Olive?!! I think it might be a first!
I hope the gals in my club will love the layout!!! If you are interested in getting more info on my scrapbook club please send me an email: sears1130@cox.net

Here is the most simple card I have ever made….

But it’s cute, isn’t it?!
I love that it is just one piece of patterned paper! Stampin’ Up! now carries several different paper packs that have paper like this which looks like strips of several different pieces of paper.
All I did on this on was mount the patterned paper onto some old Olive cardstock and then onto the White Card Base. I added some Old Olive ribbon and a rub on sentiment. Don’t forget about the rub on special that is going on until the end of this month!!!

I usually post Christmas cards on Friday- but I have a fun Thanksgiving card that I just couldn’t wait to show you!!! I made this yesterday while feeling pretty sick- and I love it. So maybe being sick brings out some stamping mojo! I was actually inspird to make this card by a fall basket liner that I have in my kitchen. It has these same leaves going across in a row!

And here is a look at the demension on those leaves…

The leaves are from the stamp set called Best Wishes and More. I LOVE the set! It is so versatile and it even has some sentiments in it. Here is a look at the whole set…

Monogram Note Cards and Folder
I am just addicted to making these cute folders that hold note cards. I first learned how to make them from a fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Dannie, but have made some changes to mak them work better for me. Don’t you think that they make a great gift?!

Here is the view from the inside…

I made these one for a craft fair and I personalized the notecards when someone bought one with the letter of their choice.
Here is a better look at the notecard…

I kept it nice and simple since I was mass producing them!
The letter is from the set Lovely Letters and I got it for FREE!!! I won a recruiting contest that Stampin’ Up! had for their demonstrators and so I got to pick any stamp set I wanted. I have wanted this set since it first came out so I am very excited to add it to my collection! I love being a demonstrator! It is such a fabulous company to work with!
If you are coming to my Holiday Line Up class next week- you will be making one of these folders!!! And everyone on my email list will get instructions next week!

Stamps: Lovely Letters
Paper: Haiku Designer Series Paper, Old Olive, More Mustard, Whisper White
