Anyway- give me a day or two to read the hundreds of emails I got, catch up on all the Stampin’ Up! announcements, and post a couple projects that I already have made! Plus- I will show you a few of my favorite pics of my son from Disney World!

Someone recently asked me "Do you really use your Big Shot Die Cut Machine much?" YES!!!! I use it almost every day!!! I love that thing!

So here is a Valentine that I cased from Jenn Diercks. I added a few more layers but kept with her same envelope of hearts concept.

That cute scallop envelope was cut with the Big Shot Die Cut Machine!

The designer series paper, heart stamps, and heart punch that I used on this card all came from the Love You Much bundle that Stampin’ Up! has on sale for 20% off of the catalog price right now!

ok- 2 days in a row without ribbon. Maybe I should go take my temp!

Today I am on my way to Orlando for a fun week in Disney with my son and our Godmother!!! If you have sent me an email or ordered a Class By Mail Kit- I will be in touch with you after I return on the 10th! In the meantime, I have scheduled some fun posts for you this week!

Today I want to show you a super simple scrapbook layout that I made to keep photos of my daughter dressed up as a dancer for Halloween. I decided not to use the traditional Halloween colors since she looks so sweet in her pink tutu. It seemed more fitting to make a pink "girly" layout!

I was looking through some sketches that I have saved and found this one…

So here is my go at it…

I really like the way everything isn’t straight up and down! Sometimes tilting your pictures or papers can really spice up a drab layout!

Since I am a Patterned Paper Aholic- I used lots of it on this layout. The entire background is a sheet from the Always Designer Series Paper pack. When you use patterned paper as the base for your layout, it might help to mount it onto a sheet of inexpensive cardstock to help make it more sturdy.

I didn’t really have any ballet stamps or embelishments- but I did have a couple extra pictures! So I punched out the ballet shoes from the pictures to make my own embelishment!

I think that was a fun (and inexpensive) way t add interest to a layout!

Th strip of Chocolate Chip cardstock on the left side was punched with my Scallop edge punch and then I used the 1/8 inch handheld punch to add the circle. Cool, huh?

Yikes! I just noticed that there isn’t any ribbon on this layout!!!! I guess anything is possible!

Stamps: Lovely Letters

Paper: Always DSP, Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Other: Circle punches, scallop edge punch, 1/8 inch handheld punch

I came across a cute (and simple) Valentine card made by Tessa Wise. I was compelled to make my own. I added some extra layers, some gel pen,  and didn’t round my corners- but otherwise it is just like her card.

Isn’t it cute? And it is so simple that you could mass produce some of these to send to friends and family next month! All of those cute hearts were punched out with the new heart punch that comes in the Love You Much Bundle. I also used the Love You Much stamp set for a few of those hearts.

Guess what I am doing today? I am packing my suitcase!!!! First thing in the morning, my son and I are flying to Florida with our Godmother to spend th week in Disney World!!! I am just a big kid when it comes to Disney!!!  And I just can’t wait to see the look on Kyler’s face when he sees all of his favorite characters! Next week he will be celebrating his 5th birthday so I am extra excited to be able to spend so much time with him. We are going to have a blast! If you are going to Stampin’ Up! leadership in Orlando this week- maybe I will see you there! And maybe you’ll let me have a peak at the new catalog???? lol!

Anyway, I have scheduled posts for the entire time that we are gone so you won’t be missing a thing!!! My hubby offered to post for me while I was goe. He said that he was going to take over and re-name the blog "Stamping Daddy of 3." You have been warned!!!

Do you have the Love You Much bundle yet? If you do, then I don’t need to tell you how cute the new stamps are!!! My favorite stamp from the set is the two birds! They just scream to be paper pieced!!!

I cased THIS card since it is the perfect layout to show off this yummy designer series paper that also comes in the Love You Much bundle. I used 4 different patterns on this card! It is so easy to mix paterned papers when they coordinate like the Stampin’ Up! designer series papers do!

The birds were pieced together. I stamped them once on the Very Vanilla cardstock and then again on each of the patterned papers. I cut the boddies out of the patterned papers and glued them to the Very Vanilla. I added some shadows to ground the birds with Basic Gray ink and a blender pen. The heart was punched out of the Ridinghood Red cardstock using the new punch that also comes in the bundle!

Did I mention that the bundle is 20% off of the catalog price if you order now?!!!

Paper: Candy Lane DSP, Kraft, Very Vanilla, Ridinghood Red, Pink Pirouette

I can’t think of a better way to start 2009 then by showing off a scrapbook layout with adorable pictures of my girls!!!

These are some of the pictures that I had taken this past summer to commemorate their birthdays. They were all little hams!

This layout really evolved as I started working on it! I was looking at the Always designer Series Paper that I just recently

got- and had the urge to scrap some girls pictures!

Here are some notes about the layout:

-I didn’t have any 12×12 Pink Pirouette so I just used a sheet of 8 1/2 x11 and another strip that was about 2×11. I just covered the seem with the piece of patterned paper.

-I made the scallop with the scallop border punch. This punch is a MUST for any paper crafter!

-The title was cut with my Big Shot Die Cut Machine and the Go Go Boots alphabet.

-I didn’t have any buttons to match the layout so I pulled out my clear buttons and punched circles of dsp to go under them. Now I have buttons that match perfectly!

Recipe:

Stamps: None!

Paper: Always DSP, Whisper White, Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette

Other: Big Shot Die Cut Machine, Go Go Boots alphabte die, scallop edge punch, circle punches, clear buttons, regal rose ribbon, paper clip from clips assortment, white gel pen, pumpkin pie brad, word window punch
