An Update

I am so sorry. I know that many of you were waiting for me to put my stamps up for sale yesterday. But I had a crappy morning. I was at a meeting (with friends) and I had all my money from my open house stolen from inside my purse. I felt very violated and upset and so I never did get to put the stamps up for sale. Instead, I spent most of the night nursing a headache. And I STILL have the headache.

I hope you will forgive me!!! I will unpack the stamps tomorrow and they will be up for sale first thing on Monday morning.

Wow so sorry to hear that!
I work at an elem. school and we had a night plant operator who was coming into classes during the day and taking money from teachers’ purses and it was a very wierd time till he got caught. i was lucky to not be robbed from, but two of my teammates did get robbed. When you are in a ’safe’ place like that you question yourself, like did i really have a 20 dollar bill in my wallet or did i spend it yesterday at target?
Hope they will figure out who took your money soon.

I’m so sorry that happened to you. It’s really a shame that people take what is not theirs.

    Jamie–

I am so sorry to hear that this happened. How sad that there are people in the world who would violate others in that way.

Was this a school open house? Or a stamp open house at your home? I would be furious. Hope you can figure out who took it and then string them up by their toenails!

    Jami,
I am so sorry to hear this. Have been patiently waiting for your “leftover” sale items to be posted, and now I know why. What a dirty rotten shame! They say vandalism, burglaries, stolen mail, etc. are on the rise due the economy but how dare someone do this when amongst friends. With friends like that, who needs enemies? Hopefully, someone will come clean, and you’ll get your money back. No wonder you’ve had a headache for two days. I would too. Get better soon!

    Jamie,
I am so sorry to hear that! I know when you are among friends and something bad happens its even worse. You aren’t as suprised when starngers rip you off but when it happens in the company of friends you wonder who your true friends are. I’m sorry that this would happen to such a good person.
