Whooo Hoo! I made time for some creative projects today!!! I am starting to get better at my new schedule. But I am going to admit that I am exhausted and have daily headaches!!!
Yesterday I spotted this super cute bunny basket that Jenn made and I just had to make one of my own!!!!!

Isn’t it fun?!!!! The basket itself is just 4 of the scallop envelopes cut with my Big Shot. I used sticky stip to put them all together. Then I used this template to cute the bunny head out. I made the feet with oval nestibilities because I don’t have the wide oval punch.
Here are some more pics of it….

I just had to add a pom pom to his butt!
My kids said that my bunny was "cool." That’s good enough for me!!!
I have a couple other 3d projects to show you tomorrow that are VERY differnt than this one!!! Are you curious?
Recipe:
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Tea Party DSP
Other: Big Shot, Scallop Envelope Die, Small Oval Punch, 1 linch circle punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Oval Nestibilities, Googly Eyes, Pom Pom, Black Marker, Pretty in Pink Marker, SU ribbon

Top Note Clutch Purse
Filed Under 3D, Big Shot, Stampin Up!, Tutorial | 3 Comments
After hours and hours of cleaning and organizing- I found a little time yesterday to craft!!! My room is still a bit messy. But I have taken lots of stuff out so I should be able to find a home for all the stuff that is currently littering my desk and floor!!!
Tomorrow, I am supposed to bring the ladies at my MOPS table a little gift. The theme of the gift is "something girly." My co table leader got them some lip gloss and nail polish and asked if I could make a box. Of course!!!! I think this top note clutch purse will fir the gift perfectly and it is very girly!!!

I used some tiny little maganets by Basid Grey to keep the purse closed…

Isn’t that fun?!!!!
I have seen lots of little purses and boxes in blogland- but I made mine up from my own crazy head. So here are the demensions.
-Start with a piece of cardstock that is 5×6
-Score along the 6 inch side at 1inch and 5 inches
-Score along the 5 inch side at 2 and 3
-Use sticky strip to put the box together.
-Use the Top Note die to cut the lid from DSP
-Score the top note at approx. 1 1/4 and 2 1/4
-Add large eyelets and a ribbon handle to the center of the top note
-Adhere to the back of the box with sticky strip.
-Add a small magnet to keep the purse closed.
-Decorate if desired!!!

Scallop Treat Box
Filed Under 3D, Big Shot, Stampin Up! | 1 Comment
I cannot believe that it is already Monday!! Where did the weekend go? My family was so very busy. I didn’t even get to touch a stamp : ( But I did take 300 pictures! I will have lots of stuff to scrapbook!!! But will I ever have the time?!!!
Today I have a cute little treat box to show you using the scallop envelope die and the Big Shot Die Cut machine.

Doesn’t it look so fun and "springy"? Since it was 90 degrees here this weekend- I am in a sping mood. The box is easy to make. You cut out 2 of the scallop envelopes and then trim the bottom flaps so that they are the same size as the side flaps. Then, just attach them with some sticky strip and decorate!!! I added some Tea Party DSP and a butterfly made with my Big Shot and the same DSP.
I am hoping to get a lot of cleaning done in my stamp room today so that I will be ready for my sale on Wednesday!!!

Paper: Tea Party DSP, Pretty in Pink
Other: Big Shot Die Cut Machine, Scallop Envelope Die, Beautiful Butterflies Die, Pink Taffeta Ribbon

Simple Valentine Treat
Filed Under 3D, Big Shot, Stampin Up!, Valentines | 2 Comments
I have a confession. I have not stamped since last Thursday! Yikes!!!! I have been having terrible troubles with migraines. And now, on top of the migraine, I have come down with a cold.
Today I have a simple Valentine’s Day treat to show you. I made a bunch of these to give to the gals at my MOPS table last week.

I just cut 2 top notes with my Big Shot Die Cut Machine and then attached them to a small treat bag. I had to cut the bag down. I think I got them at Target next to all the gift bags. Here is a side view…

The bags were filled with yummy candies. I ate all the left overs!!! I thought it might help the headache!
I am off to rest some more and hope to stamp again very soon!
Recipe:
Stamps: Hugs & Wishes
Paper: Candy Lane DSP, Kraft
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Other: small treat bag, Heart to Heart Punch, Word Window Punch, Pink Pirouette Striped Ribbon, Big Shot Die Cut Machine, Top Note Die

Take Note

No Petal Pizzazz today!!!! I promise! In fact, today’s project is one that I made before my new SU! goodies came. It is a cute little notebook! I got the directions from Kristina Werner. It is basically just a 3×11 piece of patterned paper and 2 7/8×11 pieces of copy paper. You fold them and add staples to hold it together. (as you can see, I had some issues with my stapler! But I was too tired at the time to try again!) Then decorate!

I used this fun image from the Eastern Elegance set and colored directly on the rubber with my Old Olive and Regal Rose markers. The DSP is retired : (
Recipe:
Stamps: Eastern Elegance
Paper: Murifield DSP, Regal Rose, Whisper White, copy paper
Other: Regal Rose and Old Olive Markers, Regal Rose Ribbon, Stapler

Hand Stamped Dry Erase Boards!
Filed Under 3D, Copics, Stampin Up! | 3 Comments
Sorry to post so late today but I had MOPS this morning (it’s an hour drive each way) and I just never had a chance to schedule a post. But I have a project to show you that I just LOVE. I needed to bring a small gift for ech of the 8 gals at my table and it was suggested that we bring some sort of notebook or something that could be used for To Do lists. It got me thinking about a project that Diana Gibbs made back in December. So here are 2 of the dry erase boards that I made….

So sorry about the crappy lighting in the pictures. It has been cloudy and raining for about 36 hours so there is no good lighting for pictures. But aren’t these cute?! I got the photo frames at the dollar store. They are 5×7. I took some patterned paper and printed lines on it with my printer. Then I decorated with a stamped image and stuck it in the frame. Now you can use a Dry Erase marker to write on it!!! I am going to keep mine in my stamp room. Whenever I run out of a crdstock color or something, I can write it on the frame to make ordering easier! I also think it would be great to put next to the phone with a list of friends and family with birthdays coming up. It will help to remind you to call them. You could even use it for phone messages!
I will upload pictures of the other frames this weekend.

Quick Valentine Treat Idea
Filed Under 3D, Big Shot, Valentines | Leave a Comment
I like to make my kid’s teachers a treat at just about every holiday. They work very hard and I like to show my appreciation. The problem is that my kids have a combined 11 teachers! Plus the piano teacher! That is a lot of treats! So I am always on the look for inexpensive and fast ideas! Well last week I came across this super cute treat bag and so I had to make some of my own. The best part…I got to use my BIG SHOT DIE CUT MACHINE!

I just cut 2 pieces of Chocolate Chip cardstock with my top note die in the Big Shot Die Cut Machine. I then glued one to the front and one to the back of a small brown paper bag that I cut down to be shorter than the top notes. I am not positive where I got the bags- but I think it was at Target.

I just had to paper piece those birds again!!! Don’t forget that you only have until January 31st to get these cute stamps at 20% off! Just click HERE for more info.

Paper: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Candy Lane DSP

Where oh were is my mojo? Has anyone seen it? I must have left it in Orlando!!! Yesterday, I got all my chores done in the morning and saved 2 hours for crafting in the afternoon. I made NOTHING!!! I tried. But nothing happened! So today I am showing you the last project I had made before my trip. Hopefully I will have another project tomorrow, but if I am MIA, you will know that I am still searching for my stamping mojo.
Anyway, I have a sweet little card today that holds one of the Ghiradelli chocolate squares…

And the inside…

Wouldn’t this be a fun treat for the teachers at school or for your co workers on Valentine’s Day?
BIG NEWS- New catalogs are in the house!!!! The UPS man didn’t even knock (or maybe the kids were so loud that I didn’t hear) but I kept looking out the window finally- I saw a box. Holly cow! This is an amazing catalog!!! I love the new Manhatten Style watch, the cordoroy buttons, new Big Shot dies ( a butterfly!) and textured plates. Seriouslly- how am I ever going to decide what to order first??!!! Any suggestions????
Alright- I am going to go read my catalog in bed. Oh come on! You know you do it too!!!
If you see my mojo- kindly send it back to me!
