I have a couple projects to show you today using the Candy Lane Designer Series Paper.

First, I have a 2 page scrapbook layout! I have a certain reader (you know who you are!) who is always asking for these 2 pagers. So this one is for you!!! It is the page that my scrapbook clubs made for February. Sorry I don’t have pics of my cute kids in it yet. The layout has room for lots of 2×2 pictures!

Here is a close-up of the title (which I love!)…

And of course, I had to have a set of thos paper pieced birdies…

My favorite part of this whole layout is the color combo!!! It is Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Ridinghood Red and Pink Pirouette. It looks very pretty IRL!

Next I have a card for you using the new Sale a Bration set called "Yummy." That is my favorite word these days….so of course I had to have the set!!! And since it was FREE, can you blame me?!!! Don’t forget to place your $50 order, so you can pick a free sale a bration set!!!! So here is the card…

I love how "girly" this card is! I think it would make a great wedding or bridal shower card! And do you see that super sweet flower?!!!

Yummy!!!! It’s called a Fleurette and when I saw them in the new catty, I knew I had to have them. But they are so pretty that I have been hoarding them!!!  Mmmmm Mmmmmm Mmmmmm!!!

Ok I am off to tackle my large To Do list!

Sorry I am a little late posting this morning. It was such a crazy weekend- that never found time to take pictures of the scrap page I wanted to show you today. Now it is cloudy- so the picture isn’t the greatest, but I think you will get the idea!

This is the layout that my scrapbook club made yesterday afternoon…

And here are a couple close up shots…

The white that you see behind the photo of my son is actually an envelope. I licked and sealed it and then trimmed a half inch off the side. Now I have extra space to store pictures that didn’t fit on my layout!!!

You can’t see this too well in the picture, but I actually used the large and medium snowflake stamps from the Snow Swirled set to create my own background paper. I stamped them in Real Red ink on the Real Red cardstock. The I went back and added some dots with a white gel pen to help bring them out more. It looks nice IRL!

The title was cut with my Big Shot Die Cut Machine!!! And aren’t those felt flurries super cute?! They are available until January 17th in the Holiday Mini!

Recipe:

Stamps: Snow Swirled

Paper: Ski Slope DSP, Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Whisper White

Ink: Real Red

Other: Big Shot Die Cut Machine, Join in the Cheer Die, White Gel Pen, Scallop Edge punch, tab punch, 3/4 inch circle punch, Real Red Gingham Ribbon, Silver Cord, Medium Whisper White Envelope, Small and Large Felt Flurries

This picture right here pretty much sums up my greatest blessings!!!

We had our annual family Christmas pictures taken on Friday! You can see more of the pictures on my family blog by clicking HERE if you want to.

But on to the stamping…

This is the 2 page scrapbook layout that my clubs will be making this week….

Big Shot Die Cut Machine Scrapbook Layout

The Very Vanilla cardstock is just a place maker for my pictures. I want to use some pictures from Thanksgiving on this layout but I wanted my club gals to get an idea of what I was thinking when designing it.

Here is the first page…

And here is the 2nd page…

Let me give you some close ups…

Big Shot Die Cut Machine Title

I used my Big Shot Die Cut Machine with the top note die to create that fun shape for the first part of the title!

On the journaling strips I listed my top 5 blessings. Each of these blessings will coordinate with one of the pictures on the layout and that is why I punch a small circle of pumpkin pie cardstock and put numbers next to the photos!!!

Now I told you I love that stamp set Best Wishes & More when I used it on Friday- so you had to know you would be seeing it again!!!

So can you believe that I made a scrapbook layout without any ribbon and without using any Old Olive?!! I think it might be a first!

I hope the gals in my club will love the layout!!! If you are interested in getting more info on my scrapbook club please send me an email: sears1130@cox.net

Recipe:

Stamps: Best Wishes & More, Taffy Alphabet, Typeset Alphabet Lower

Paper: Chocolate Chip Designer Series Paper, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke, Pumpkin Pie

Other: Big Shot Die Cut Machine, Top Note Die, 1/2 inch circle punch

Every month my scrapbook clubs get to make a 2 page 12×12 scrapbook layout for FREE! This month I CASED myself and made THIS layout into a 2 page spread.

Here is a closer look at each page…

Here is a close up of those 1/2 inch journaling strips that I seem to use on almost every layout these days…

Aren’t those pumpkins cute?! They are from the set Halloween Frights in the Holiday Mini. The black cat is from the same set.

Here are a couple of notes about how I made the layout…

- I heat embossed the title and the black cat. I stamped the images in Black Craft ink and then embossed with black embossing powder.

-The star in the title was made with the Big Shot, chipboard and a scrap of summer sun cardstock. I glued the cardstock on to a small piece of chipboard and then ran it through my Big Shot with the star die.

-Those cute girls in the pictures are my three year old twins- Danika and Makenzie!

Recipe:

Stamps: Well-Worn Alphabet, Halloween Frights (#111766, $15.95)

Paper: Ghostly Greetings Designer Series Paper (#112463, $9.95), Basic Black, Whisper White, Summer Sun

Ink: Black Craft, Pumpkin Pie

Other: Heat Tool, Black Embossing Powder, Kiwi Kiss Striped Ribbon, 3/4 inch circle punch, Black Marker, Chipboard, Big Shot, Star Die

WARNING: My camera is still at my mom’s house and I am unable to use photo shop. I guess my computer doesn’t have enough ram to run the program because my computer always freezes when I open it. All this to say- the pictures aren’t so great!!!

But I am LOVING this scrapbook layout! This is the layout that both of my scrapbook clubs will be making this month!

Do you see that cork board?!!! I bought a roll of cork and then I ran a piece through my Big Shot with the top note die! Isn’t it awesome! And it went through the Big Shot so easily! And that little clip is from the clip assortment. As soon as I saw it at convention- I knew that I would use them in my school layout!

I attached the pictures to Riding Hood Red Cardstock. Then I put the carstock onto the layout with sticky strip on just three sides so that I would have a pocket for my journaling tags.

I cut the stars out with my Big Shot too!!! Fist I took a piece of chipboard and glued some of the Washington Apple DSP to it. Then I ran it through my Big Shot with the Star Die. Simple!!!

I hope my scrappers love it as much as I do!! If you are interested in joining one of my clubs, send me an email or leave a comment. You don’t need to live near me.

had the pleasure of getting together with my scrapbook club today! I always enjoy scrapping with these ladies. Many of them have been in clubs with me for the past year and a half and we have formed a friendship.

They each got to make this two page layout using lots of new stuff from the catty. They loved the page. And so do I!

Do you love the clouds in the sky? I made those with a sponge, Baja Breeze ink and a scrap punched with the scallop circle punch as a mask. I love the way it turned out.

I also love the flowers. I inked the entire stamp with Baja Breeze and then used a sponge dauber to add some Not Quite Navy to the tops of the flowers.

The title "You" was made with the Go Go Boots alphabet and my Big Shot!! My customers will be able to start ordering these on September 2nd!!! Everyone at club today loved it!!!
