Happy Birthday, Kyler!!!
Filed Under Cards, Pictures of the kids | 2 Comments
I cannot believe that my "baby" is 5 today!!!! He is actually my oldest- but as I always tell him "you are always my baby." Isn’t he handsome?

Of course he is!!!!
Kyler is having a birthday party with some of his (and my!) friends this weekend. I have to admitt that I actually sent out an evite. It is just so much easier for everyone to RSVP!!! But then I made some invites for some of his friends from school and piano class that I did not have email addresses for. I love the way they turned out! Kyler said that they are "cool." I wanted to play our new wii but told myself I couldn’t until the invites were made. An hour later I was playing wii!!!

Here is a peak at the inside…

I used my cmputer and printer to write all the details!
Recipe:
Stamps: Prehistoric Pals, Hugs & Wishes
Paper: Maine Blueberry DSP, Kraft, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White
Ink: Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive
Other: Bashful Blue Taffeta

My Girls!
Filed Under Pictures of the kids, Scrapbooking | 4 Comments
I can’t think of a better way to start 2009 then by showing off a scrapbook layout with adorable pictures of my girls!!!

These are some of the pictures that I had taken this past summer to commemorate their birthdays. They were all little hams!
This layout really evolved as I started working on it! I was looking at the Always designer Series Paper that I just recently
got- and had the urge to scrap some girls pictures!
Here are some notes about the layout:
-I didn’t have any 12×12 Pink Pirouette so I just used a sheet of 8 1/2 x11 and another strip that was about 2×11. I just covered the seem with the piece of patterned paper.
-I made the scallop with the scallop border punch. This punch is a MUST for any paper crafter!
-The title was cut with my Big Shot Die Cut Machine and the Go Go Boots alphabet.
-I didn’t have any buttons to match the layout so I pulled out my clear buttons and punched circles of dsp to go under them. Now I have buttons that match perfectly!

Recipe:
Stamps: None!
Paper: Always DSP, Whisper White, Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette
Other: Big Shot Die Cut Machine, Go Go Boots alphabte die, scallop edge punch, circle punches, clear buttons, regal rose ribbon, paper clip from clips assortment, white gel pen, pumpkin pie brad, word window punch

Merry Christmas!
Filed Under Christmas, Class Projects, Pictures of the kids, Scrapbooking | Leave a Comment
Sorry I have been so quiet this week. I have been enjoying some holiday time with my family! We had 15 people for dinner last night!!! It was crazy- but a good crazy. The kids got so many gifts that I can hardly see the floor in their huge toy room. And we still have to go to grandma’s house today!!! And I got a few new stamp sets to play with!!! (When I can squeeze in some stamping time!) Plus, my sweet hubby got me a digital videa camera and I am dying to make a video tutorial!!!
I hope that everyone had a merry Christmas and is spending time with friends and family!
Here is a super sweet picture of my babies!

I have not had any time in my stamp room in days- so I am going to show you another one of the scrapbook layouts that my class made a few weeks ago.

The page was made with the I Wish Simply Scrappin’ kit. Love those kits!!!
Stay tuned for pictures from my upcoming Valentine’s class as well as some new Class by Mail kits!

Quick and Simple Card
Filed Under Cards, Pictures of the kids | Leave a Comment
Sorry I haven’t posted many projects this week. My entire family has come down with colds and so stamping has been a very low priority this week. I have actually completed some awesome projects that you will have to wait to see!!!
So today I have a super simple card to share with you. I made it yesterday when I was feeling very unmotivated! My Aunt requested a card with the flowers from Inspired by Nature and she wanted them to be purple. So this is what I came up with…

Recipe:
Stamps: Inspired by Nature
Paper: Elegant Eggplant and Whisper White
Ink: Elegant Eggplant and Almost Amathyst
Other: Stamping Spong
I am going to leave you today with a picture of three of my kiddos from their Christmas play at church this past weekend! Two of them were cows and 1 was a lamb!

Check my post below as there are AMAZING specials going on right now!

Filed Under Christmas, Class By Mail, Class Projects, Pictures of the kids, Scrapbooking | Leave a Comment
Every year, I offer a scrapbooking class in December. I love it- because it forces me to get a jump start on my scrapbooking!!! I think that my customers love it for the same reason! Imagaine printing your pictures on the 1st of the year and have 6 scrapbook layouts waiting for them! Today is the last day to sign up to come to my scrapbooking class on the 12th and it is also the last day to buy a class kit by mail. Click HERE for all the details.
Here is another peak at one of the layouts we will be maiking in class…

Are you wondering why I put three of the same picture on th page? Well I didn’t have any other horizontal pictures from our Christmas shoot and I wanted to be able to show you where I intended for the pictures to be placed when I designed the page. Make sense?
Here is a close up of the cute little tag that comes in the I Wish kit. I used it as my title on this page…

I think I may end up using this page for pictures of my kids snuggled up in their jammies on Christmas Eve!
Hope to see you in class!!!
I will be taking the weekend off of blogging in order to spend some extra time with my family- but I am working on a tutorial that I will be posting first thing Monday morning!!!!
Have a great weekend!

Christmas Paper Bag Album
Filed Under 3D, Christmas, Pictures of the kids, Scrapbooking | 2 Comments
Today I am going to show you a mini album that I made last Christmas. It was before my blogging days. After an entire year- I am still in love with this little album. And all my customers like to look at it when they come to class. The Dashing Designer Series Paper that I used in the book is retired- but if you want to recreate this- you could use any of the Holiday Designer Series Paper packs in the current Catalog or the Holiday Mini.
Here is the cover:

And the inside pages…

And here is a picture of the tags that I put inside the paper bags….

I gave these albums to the kid’s grandparents and godparents last year and they were a hit! I know that I displayed by copy all year long!
So here are some details….
-I buy my paperbag albums from ebay. I buy the 6×6 albums and I like to buy the ones that are sewn together as they stay together much better!
-The albums already have the holes punched in them- but if you just add all the pages and then try and punch through them with the crop a dile- it will be too thick. So make the pages and punch the holes before you glue them into the album!
-I used lots of punches and ribbon in this project. The only stamp set that I used was Merry & Bright (still available) for the little reindeers. And the patterned paper is called Dashing- but it is retired.
-I got these pictures taken last year at Portrait Innovations. The outfits were purchased from ebay.
Reminder:
This Friday is your last chance to register for my I Wish Simply Scrappin Class. Click HERE for more info.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Happy Stamping!

Christmas Clipboard
Filed Under 3D, Christmas, Holiday Mini Catalog, Pictures of the kids, Scrapbooking | 1 Comment
I have just a quick post for you today. I am actually leaving to drop kids off with grandparents and then go to a nice hotel in Scottsdale with my hubby!!! We will be celebating our 6th wedding anniversary tomorrow!
On to the stamping. I mad this cute clipboard photo frame quite a while back. It is sitting in my stamp room and I smile everytime I se my daughter’s sweet smile!!!

I got this clipboard for $1 at an office supply store and then just covered it with cardstock and some patterned paper from the Ski Slope Designer Series Paper pack. I added some ribbon and a Baja Breeze tab made with the punch. But my favorite part of the project (besides the sweet picture) is the hat pin with pearls that I got from the Pretties kit.

I have my clipboard frame displayed with a decorative plate holder. I can change the clipboard each season!!! This is a fun part of my holiday decor and a fabulous gift as well!
Don’t forget about the Holiday Extravaganza sale!!! I would hate for you to miss the opportunity to get some of your favorite stamp sets at 20-50% off!!! Click HERE for more details.
Ok- I am off to Scottsdale for a mini vacation!!!

Counting My Blessings
Filed Under Club Project, Pictures of the kids, Scrapbooking | 2 Comments
This picture right here pretty much sums up my greatest blessings!!!

We had our annual family Christmas pictures taken on Friday! You can see more of the pictures on my family blog by clicking HERE if you want to.
But on to the stamping…
This is the 2 page scrapbook layout that my clubs will be making this week….

The Very Vanilla cardstock is just a place maker for my pictures. I want to use some pictures from Thanksgiving on this layout but I wanted my club gals to get an idea of what I was thinking when designing it.
Here is the first page…

And here is the 2nd page…

Let me give you some close ups…

I used my Big Shot Die Cut Machine with the top note die to create that fun shape for the first part of the title!

On the journaling strips I listed my top 5 blessings. Each of these blessings will coordinate with one of the pictures on the layout and that is why I punch a small circle of pumpkin pie cardstock and put numbers next to the photos!!!
Now I told you I love that stamp set Best Wishes & More when I used it on Friday- so you had to know you would be seeing it again!!!

So can you believe that I made a scrapbook layout without any ribbon and without using any Old Olive?!! I think it might be a first!
I hope the gals in my club will love the layout!!! If you are interested in getting more info on my scrapbook club please send me an email: sears1130@cox.net
Recipe:

Two Page Boo!
Filed Under Big Shot, Club Project, Halloween, Holiday Mini Catalog, Pictures of the kids, Scrapbooking | 1 Comment
Every month my scrapbook clubs get to make a 2 page 12×12 scrapbook layout for FREE! This month I CASED myself and made THIS layout into a 2 page spread.

Here is a closer look at each page…

Here is a close up of those 1/2 inch journaling strips that I seem to use on almost every layout these days…

Aren’t those pumpkins cute?! They are from the set Halloween Frights in the Holiday Mini. The black cat is from the same set.
Here are a couple of notes about how I made the layout…
- I heat embossed the title and the black cat. I stamped the images in Black Craft ink and then embossed with black embossing powder.
-The star in the title was made with the Big Shot, chipboard and a scrap of summer sun cardstock. I glued the cardstock on to a small piece of chipboard and then ran it through my Big Shot with the star die.
-Those cute girls in the pictures are my three year old twins- Danika and Makenzie!
Recipe:
Stamps: Well-Worn Alphabet, Halloween Frights (#111766, $15.95)
Paper: Ghostly Greetings Designer Series Paper (#112463, $9.95), Basic Black, Whisper White, Summer Sun
Ink: Black Craft, Pumpkin Pie
Other: Heat Tool, Black Embossing Powder, Kiwi Kiss Striped Ribbon, 3/4 inch circle punch, Black Marker, Chipboard, Big Shot, Star Die
Click on the Shop Tab to purchase any of these products! Here is a better look at the stamp set and the Designer Series Paper…
